Our nursery is set in the former Skelton Newby School, a Victorian building split into four spacious classrooms with a variety of outdoor spaces.
In our most recent Ofsted report we received five Strong standards for Achievement, Behaviours, Attitudes & Establishing Routines, Children's Welfare & Wellbeing and Curriculum & Teaching, and an Expected standard for Leadership & Governance.

At home Alfie tells us about the animals he's spotted and also about the staff. When he creates his own little games at home he incorporates Miss Lizzie and Miss Roxy into them.

The outdoor space was the first thing that drew us to Little Pippins. It just looked so lovely and we wanted our daughter to experience the natural environment as part of her learning.
My children have & continue to love Little Pippins Montessori Nursery School. It is a friendly, warm & nurturing environment, teaching children so very much alongside a lot of play. No nursery in the area comes anywhere near what Mrs Jackson offers.

Since Iona joined Little Pippins Montessori Nursery, she has thrived both socially and educationally. She has become a confident little girl who walks into nursery with a massive smile on her face and just loves her time there.

The best thing about Little Pippins Montessori Nursery School is that the team (including CoCo) makes our daughter really really happy. This allows her to learn and develop quickly. The culture of the nursery gives her the values and beliefs we want to her have. We would always recommend Little Pippins for early years learning and development.
Both of our daughters have flourished under the care of Mrs. Jackson and her wonderful team. Little Pippins is an extremely special place and we cannot recommend it enough!
It's difficult to express just how wonderful Little Pippins is. The staff know the children very well and nothing is too much trouble. It is a fantastic learning environment, preparing children exceptionally well for school.
